I’m Romana, the maker behind OaZo Ceramics.
Since 2012, I've been creating small-batch, handmade ceramics in Zagreb, Croatia.
Through limited series of ceramics, I explore new ideas, experiment with material,
and stay true to slow-made philosophy rather then mass production.
INSPIRATION
Nature, living organisms & the raw beauty of clay inspire my work.
Many of my pieces are left intentionally raw, enhancing their natural aesthetic,
encouraging a direct, tactile connection between hands & the material.
For me, ceramics is a never-ending discovery,
a process of shaping earth into something unique & sharing it with others.

In a world driven by mass production, I believe in patience, artistry & mindful creation.
Each piece evolves slowly, passing through many stages before it’s complete.
By embracing slowness, I can give each object the care it deserves,
making every piece truly one of a kind.

The journey of a handmade ceramic piece doesn’t end in the studio,
it continues when it’s carefully packed & sent to its new home.
That’s why I use 100% recyclable, plastic-free & eco-friendly packaging.
My natural, earthy packaging is designed to protect your piece
while also making the unwrapping experience feel special, just like receiving a gift.
